A needlepoint rustication covers the stummel, but then an intricate, looping pattern stands in clear relief around it. The interwoven tendrils are quite organic, and leap from the bowl physically and visually for a quite striking effect. Meerschaums always gain intrigue and uniqueness as they patinate from smoking sessions, and I can only imagine the depths of character this one will reach.
