This Freehand from Yusuf of AKB features a ridgeline that erupts from the transition, swoops upward and forward around the fore of the bowl, and back down the other side. It makes me think of a roller coaster, implying movement even while remaining still, and works in concert with a detailed carved floral motif to present a lively pipe indeed. With plenty of detail on which patina will accumulate, it will grow in character and uniqueness as it is smoked.
