A number of Dunhill's shapes maintain their form and proportions across the English marque's various Group sizes. The "13" bent Apple, however, tends to change its shape slightly depending on its size, and in larger renderings, it often exudes a more Egg-like persona, the bowl being quite tall and tapered above a broad heel. Such shaping makes for a sublime in-hand feel, while the bent posture balances the form when clenched. This particular rendition is further elevated by a trim, sterling silver accent, adding refined elegance to the dark color palette of the Chestnut series.

A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
