While sipping his favorite bourbon, Joe Lankford of the Seattle Pipe Club came up with a bold, flavorful idea for a new blend. Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged is a version of SPC's popular Plum Pudding blend. It's an English mixture of Latakia, Cavendish, Virginias, Perique, and Oriental tobaccos, but in this Bourbon Barrel Aged version, it's blended and packed into charred oak Kentucky bourbon barrels, aged 30 days, pressed into cakes, and crumble cake cut. Packaged in two-ounce tins, each individual tin includes a bourbon barrel stave to preserve the blend's smoky, spicy, and complex character.
