A forward-urging, floral-inspired bowl flares prominently toward the asymmetrical, plateau-covered rim in this bent Dublin from Poul Winslow. The Danish carver's numerous decades of pipe making are reflected in the handsome line work and suppleness required to craft this piece, which wears one of his dual finishes. Mostly smooth and stained a fetching honey-blonde color that showcases an array of fiery flame grain, this piece also wears a craggy rustication along the heel and shank whose ruby hues match that of the plateau.
