Forthright in its stance and somewhat shapely about the softly-inflated rim, this Acorn from Poul Winslow is certainly more understated compared to the carver's livelier fare, with a Pot-like squareness in profile and a fair substance in hand. Here, it wears a warm, vibrant contrast, serving to coax some stellar flame here, coupled with no shortage of excellent birdseye, too.
