This bent Dublin from AKB Meerschaum features one of the most elaborate carvings I've come across. The detail is simply astonishing, beginning with the "bowl within a bowl" depiction. Displaying a smooth rim, when viewed from above, it appears as if a smooth bowl is fitted inside the intricately carved, outer one. Perhaps the most eye-catching of all are the trumpeting elephants in bas relief on either flank. The bowl's base features a scroll-like accoutrement , while interlacing patterns are seen on both the bowl and stout stem. All of this is topped by a jet-black, stylish stem that downturns for an easy jaw-hanging posture. This is quite an impressive pipe from the renowned Turkish workshop.
