Castello's beloved Aristocratica finish hearkens back to the late 1960s to 1979 when founder Carlo Scotti fashioned a small number of pipes to give away to friends and associates. Each piece wore a darkened or "fumed" rim as does this modern-day, towering Stack, carved from high-quality briar. Additionally, this piece is part of the Italian marque's vaunted Regimental series, a 2020 limited-edition line wherein only 60 were made. A particularly low number, this pipe is only the second in that line, identified easily by its intricately designed silver adornment along the shank end. Shape-wise, the nearly three-inch tall bowl is paired to a far more lean shank-and-stem combination, staying true to its Italian neoclassic roots.
