A pocket-friendly bent Apple from Dunhill, this rendition is offered in the English marque's Group 4 size, making for a versatile pipe ready for any occasion. The plump, low-slung bowl boasts handsome grain patterns under a dark Chestnut finish, while a high-kicking shank is paired to a well-bent cumberland saddle stem for easy jaw-hanging. The dark hues of each provide a unified aesthetic, full of mystery and well-executed classicism.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
