While the stummel's shaping of this pipe are traditional, aligning with Dunhill's archetypal "03" Billiard, the stem is anything but classic. The push-style mouthpiece fits to a military mount of genuine horn and curves dramatically at almost a 45 degree angle just past the stem logo. It's one of The White Spot's more whimsical designs, making this Group 4 piece as rare and collectible as it is playful.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
