Poul Winslow began carving pipes for Preben Holm in 1969, and by the time he was 22 was Preben's lead assistant, already leaping ahead of 45 other pipe makers. Now, with over five decades of experience going into Poul Winslow pipes, it should be no surprise how striking this flowing bent Dublin is, with the briar's natural plateau and bespoke fluting working in concert to display an organic aesthetic. It's dressed in a black and cream contrast stain and smooth finish, playing well with the grain and providing much for the eye to admire. A healthy handful of Dublin, this pipe has a substantial in-hand feel and promises to become a favored smoking companion.
